Marketing your Network Marketing business online has become even more important in recent months with people not able to meet in person. And with the rise of digital marketing channels such as social media, email and blogs comes an expectation for high quality visual content. Whether it’s memes, gifs, videos or traditional images, visual assets help create an association with your brand, often subconsciously. In fact, visual content is no longer a nice to have, but a necessity.
Most Network Marketers use social media and other digital channels to promote their products and attract new team members, so the way you and your brand is represented online can help set you apart from your competitors. The fonts, colours and types of images you use can be an important factor in the decision-making process so it’s worth thinking these through before you get started. The ultimate aim is to create visuals that follow your brand style and are therefore recognisable.
The good news is that it is easy and inexpensive to produce a range of appealing images and videos that will put your products or services in the best light. These days, smart phones have good quality cameras that help you capture original images and videos, but there are a range of free tools available to help you.

Free photo editing tools
Once you have your own or royalty-free photos, you can edit these with one of the below tools:
Canva
Canva offers a huge range of templates, backgrounds, fonts, colours and images to help you create beautiful posters, website graphics, social media posts and animations. You can also create bespoke designs from scratch and upload your own images to your image library. It is easy to use and produces professional looking visuals as a result, for very little effort. There are also a range of helpful step-by-step tutorials available.
Photopea
Photopea is a more advanced editing software that replicates some of Adobe Photoshop’s features – but for free. It can be used for simple tasks, such as resizing images, as well as complex tasks, such as designing webpages, creating illustrations, processing photographs and more.
Free video editing tools
OpenShot
OpenCut is great for users just starting out with video editing. Its interface is intuitive and perhaps less daunting than some of the other ones. It lets you resize, scale, trim, snap, rotate and transition clips, add subtitles and much more.
ShotCut
Whilst this one may take a little longer to get used to, once you’re a confident user it offers great features and has a great selection of filters and effects. So if you use video a lot, it might be worth spending some time watching tutorials to learn how to use it to its full capability.
The above tools are a great starting point to help you delve into creating and editing your own images and videos. We look forward to seeing some of your examples and would love to hear if you have found these useful!
